Ten commits. HQ held only the intended mesh; this gives it the one that exists, a process, and a name that was chosen rather than inherited.

The base layer

03-DESIGN splits into 00-as-is/ and 01-to-be/, declared per document and never mixed. Eleven new as-is documents written from the monorepo and the operational record — including the parts nobody would choose again, because an as-is layer that keeps only the good decisions is a brochure.

Decisions

28 records, chronological. 0001–0014 back-filled for decisions taken in implementation and never written down — the broker, the module abstraction, the mesh database, the artifact, the three silos — each marked reconstructed, dated from the history, citing its evidence. The decision ledger is gone: every decision is a record, matching papa-hq.

Findings

This repository is not indexed into the knowledge base. That claim is what the separate-repository decision rests on, and it was never checked. Issue 006.
This repository is private, while the README, AGENTS.md and ADR 0019 all say it is public — with the entire no-addresses, no-node-names rule set hanging off that. Not yet filed.
It began as a dotfiles repository. Linking over copying, adoption, per-node overrides, the flat one-directory-per-tool catalogue and the desktop modules are all inherited rather than designed for a mesh. This is the single most useful fact for anyone changing the catalogue.
Nine bounded contexts and none owns connectivity — no overlay, resolution, firewall or ingress — while measurement found reachability to be the only cluster that genuinely changes together.

Names

The product is Novox Mesh. Nox is the agent of the mesh, not of a node; nodes keep their own identities, and a human mostly talks to Nox. HQ is company-scoped — the mesh is its first product, and the company already has work outside it.

The domain list, the migration cost, feature splitting into artifact and part, whether absorbing six concerns into the host makes it too large, and both findings above.
