Graduates research 053 by playbook 02 into one to-be design, 03-DESIGN/01-to-be/58-agent-work-as-the-meshs-own.md, and its index row.

The decisions live in the knowledge base: ADR 0383 (threads), ADR 0384 (thread handler and workspace branch), ADR 0385 (workspace toolkit, no general command runner), ADR 0386 (one identity seat), ADR 0387 (effects, asks, break-glass), ADR 0388 (signed bus logins; changes ADR 0106 §3), ADR 0389 (the switch to them), ADR 0390 (a sandbox per session).

The design lists the build's acceptance tests for the milestones of playbook 04.

Review: one independent reviewer read the local commit (one round; the identity store's read-by-grant fixed). sh merge-check.sh passes locally.

Playbook 02 adds a graduated effort's words; design 58 now says agent harness, never the bare word.

Reviewed by an independent reviewer; its round-1 findings are fixed in 9844020. The bare seat-sense "role" in older designs is tracked by issue 872.
