Research 012 gains migrating a node that is in use: the operator's proposal (stop the predecessor's control, bring the mesh up in adoption mode keeping the machine's configuration, migrate module by module, node by node, flip at the end), tested against measurements of the control-node — 60 predecessor containers, its control in user daemons separate from its services, its firewall with 54 incoming and 52 forwarding rules. The measurement corrects an earlier assumption: the foundation's store and bus ports are free there; the registry's port, the broker's management port and the private network's port are the ones held.
ADR 0100, status proposed: a node is adopted or converged, recorded; on an adopted node the found firewall stays in force and the mesh opens what it needs through it, found files are kept until their module migrates, the foundation's ports are genesis inputs checked for being free; converging is one previewed act per node. Narrows ADR 0088 for adopted nodes. How it is checked: a lab bed on a machine prepared the way the predecessor leaves one.

Checks pass. No code changes; not to be merged until the record is accepted.
