The controller's secret-ask verb opens the launcher's hidden prompt from anywhere on the mesh, so the
operator must know whose ask they are typing into. The prompt takes an optional asked_by, the
controller's word on the bus's caller held to a name's characters and spaces, and says it; a sentence,
markup or a line break is refused, so the prompt's words stay the launcher's.

The review of 2026-10-09 (M4): the prompt and its message were the caller's free text, so whoever could
ask the verb could put any words before the operator. The verb now takes the module, the secret and the
machine, checked as names, and writes the prompt here, saying the mesh's controller asks — which the bus
makes true, denying the verb to every other principal (mesh-controller #156). prompt and message are refused.

jochen ad5a85398e Serve node-launcher's hidden prompt, answering sealed to the asker, so a secret typed at the desk is never in the clear (hq ADR 0259 §10) 2026-10-09 17:08:17 +02:00
jochen 1d4de00603 i3: other modules' lines are contributions to node-display-session (hq ADR 0212)
rofi, clipmenu, feh, i3status-rust and the laptop's model module wrote files into i3's config.d,
naming no dependency on the window manager. They now contribute their lines; i3 places them under a
line naming each module, and config.d is the operator's alone. The catalogue-wide test composes the
contributions as the controller does and checks the whole with i3 -C.

jochen f0f0a79623 rofi: the launcher as a module, claiming node-launcher and serving menu (hq ADR 0208)
Places the seat's dmenu-compatible command, the launcher and power menu, its
themes in the decided faces, and its key bindings as an i3 drop-in; Go tools
menu, applications, themes and run.
