mesh/repo-check checking again: the gate refused `unknown` because the controller judged with a node-engine validator pinned before mesh-host #117; mesh-co…
Every directory and archive resource carries `unknown`: move-out for a home folder whose program writes nothing there (the node-engine, delivered in mesh-host #117, moves the rest to ~/.local/state/mesh-moved/<module>/ with a list), module for ~/.ssh and ~/.claude, program elsewhere; `knows` keeps what a program or the operator relies on (powerlevel10k's compiled files, i3's scripts and the asus/g14 drop-ins, dunst's slack rule, betterbird's records, node-env's forge credential, issue 1033). Two shared folders are no longer declared. Each module's README says it. checks/owned holds every manifest to it; checks/sshdir stays while main's merge check runs it (issue 1035). Tests that pin a manifest follow the new key only. Reviewed in three rounds.
A window that is unmapped or on a hidden workspace was cut from the screen anyway, which shows what is
there instead of it. An inline image of up to 4 MiB could not cross the bus, whose largest message is
1 MiB; it is now held to 700 KiB and halved in size until it fits, saying so.
A reminder window that showed as transparent and empty could not be looked at: the window manager's
list leaves dialogs out and says nothing a compositor goes by, and xwd -id refused a window of a
32-bit visual with BadColor (X_QueryColors). xorg_windows answers every window with its class, and
on request its depth, type, state, role and own opacity; a window's screenshot is now cut from the
whole screen as the compositor shows it, and inline answers the image for a session that cannot
read the machine's files. Declares xorg-xwininfo, which both now use.
The X server, its start and its tools as one module. It provides x11-display with
the machine's reach, gated by the host's seat capability. It writes a block at the
start of ~/.xinitrc: the account's environment, an explicit import into the user
manager, the mesh's X resources merged without cpp, autorandr, the xinitrc slots,
~/.xinitrc.local, and the session's exec from the last slot.
Its Go tools serve the seat's displays and layout (autorandr profiles keyed by
EDID), and set-mode, primary, dpi, input devices and settings, keyboard, a
screenshot (xwd decoded in Go) and the server's log. internal/desktop is how
every desktop tool finds the operator's session from the runtime, which has none:
from the session's own processes, reading only its words, confirmed with logind.
