jochen	bdd2d65404	Say that nothing trusts dunst's and xdg's settings, so a verb may still change them ... With mesh-controller #170 a file that asks for a setting counts as trusted unless it says otherwise, and its settings are set at the controller's terminal alone (hq issue 339). jochen	9d438184be	dunst: reload the running notifier when the mesh rewrites its file ... A setting changed through mesh-controller.settings rewrote dunstrc, but the running dunst kept the old font and width until the next login. Declare the package's dunst.service in the account's manager, without a state, with reload-on the configuration, so the node-engine runs its ExecReload (dunstctl reload) and what is on screen stays. jochen	4c34836037	dunst: make the font size and width settings, defaulting to today's values (hq ADR 0262) ... The laptop's 242 DPI panel shows Inter 10 at less than half the workstation's size. jochen	f00b5a19b1	Say what the operator needs to do, keep quiet what needs nothing, and take answers from the desk ... The operator could not tell from a notification whether to act, nor act without opening a session. Each message now opens with a verdict, a warning that needs nothing is not sent, and a notification offers answers the messenger performs through their seat verbs; dunst's send gains actions and says the chosen one (hq ADR 0253).	2026-10-08 13:57:33 +02:00
jochen	8bbea4a2ad	dunst: the notifier as a module, claiming node-notifier and serving send and history (hq ADR 0208) ... Owns one dunstrc (the laptop's, in the interface face, its menu on the seat's dmenu command) and the dunstrc.d directory for other modules' rules; D-Bus starts it, so nothing else does.
