jschoubben	8d58afea6c	Broker tests read a consumer's pending count through pendingOf, which waits up to 10 s, wherever they expect a count after a publish (issue 1126) ... The server counts a consumer's pending after it acknowledges the publish, so a read at once failed the try of main on a loaded ace (TestAResetOfTheEventsConsumerLeavesTheMergesAndTheirConsumerAlone, 2026-10-26 22:24 UTC). Fixed for the kind, not the one test: all six reads of a positive count go through the package's own pendingOf, whose deadline was 1 s. Research 'The controller, NATS-native': none; this changes tests only, not a part of the controller.	2026-10-26 23:28:03 +01:00
jschoubben	66650e315c	Take a registered module's new done key in, compose it and grant it; at start delete the plans' buckets and compose every node and the replaced controller (issue 1945, B3, B5, B13) ... With no plan left to take a done key in, a write of the builder's keys registers the new fingerprint, composes the module's nodes and the bus's user list, and writes its grant, so the assigner's rules can name it (ADR 0539 clauses 5 and 7). The new controller composes every node at its start, and the controller it replaced at its own fingerprint, the operator's way back (clause 10); the merge window's, silent sends' and building plans' buckets are no longer asserted and are deleted once, each said as the event bucket-deleted (clause 13). The assigner may read the compositions' digests, and a node-engine hears its backup holder's backed-up.	2026-10-24 17:11:01 +02:00
jschoubben	e0fb241263	Keep a build request as the build in state asked (issue 1091) ... A request is the build's record under the id its outcome will carry, in state asked; the outcome takes its place and keeps the request beside it, so assign, the pending assignments and the planner read the builds bucket alone. The bucket removes no key, so a request past thirty days is not listed instead of deleted. The move folds build_request into the same records (one kind, builds, counted against both tables) and marks the requests never handed over to be asked again once: claimed before it is asked and settled after, so a crash loses the ask rather than making it twice. Also tests the chain buckets' options on a real bus, the assignments' mirror options included.	2026-10-18 02:53:39 +02:00
