internal/conditions TestBorrowedWordsAreLogged forbids "23:3" in the captured log; the standard logger's timestamp held it from 23:30 to 23:39, so merge-check.sh went red every night in that window (seen 2026-10-14 23:32 and 23:37 by issue 672's agent). The test now captures the log with log.SetFlags(0) and restores the writer and the flags.

Independent review (local, Sonnet): APPROVE at a07843c9. It changes only that test, nothing in it reads the clock, the old test fails with "23:31" in the log line, the new one passes. This forge commit f877c33c has the same tree as a07843c9 (5d1a66fa), on main 0b7e740b.
