jschoubben	2488d839ab	Bridge, indexer and view: carry the catalogue's predefined list on its merged message, and keep it and each open pull request's config declarations in the indexer's states, so mesh-config reads them in place of the controller's mirror and pull-declares (issue 1953 D1-D3) ... The view's tools read both states. Pins mesh-sdk 2d2aa7b.	2026-10-29 22:29:04 +01:00
jschoubben	1d0467d4c3	Forge bridge: hold that a catalogue merge carries no placement against the retired field, as mesh-sdk now names it (ADR 0567 §11, issue 1126)	2026-10-28 18:34:19 +01:00
jschoubben	730e44d762	Forge bridge: carry no placement files, placement is the seat mesh-placement's (issue 1126) ... A catalogue merge or pull request no longer lists or reads placement/, so the Listed read and ConvertWith have no use and go.	2026-10-28 17:58:58 +01:00
jschoubben	2b801f5bd4	indexer_take_in reads a held module again only when its record is behind the source's head, and the two new tests are rows (issue 1126, review) ... A head older than the record, or one whose order the forge cannot say, would have written an older manifest back. The new tests become rows of existing ones: the repository is over its 500 unit tests.	2026-10-28 11:18:01 +01:00
jschoubben	89be76bb6a	The forge bridge keeps the directories a failed try read whole, so a large merge converges over its tries (issue 1126) ... Without it the first merge after the bridge starts, with nothing kept, still reads all 140 catalogue directories in one 30 s try and times out as before.	2026-10-28 11:10:09 +01:00
jschoubben	704fc8d467	The forge bridge reads a merge's module directories only where their tree changed (issue 1126) ... mesh-catalog's 140 module directories are 420 forge reads per merge, past the 30 s bound of a handled event while the forge is busy: the merged message of #535 timed out on every try, and #3fb7951 needed seven (issue 1458 met the same kind at 131). A tree hash names its bytes, so what was read at a tree is kept in the new state inputs and in memory, and a merge reads only the directories it changed.	2026-10-28 11:10:09 +01:00
jschoubben	ea3eac51bd	Carry a catalogue pull request's placement files at its head when it touches placement/, so the indexer can write them as candidates for the nodes to answer before the merge (issue 1126)	2026-10-27 02:13:55 +01:00
jschoubben	4f75925410	Nodes compose: placement from the catalogue, node records, self wants, own and pair credentials, core boxes and the authority from the vault (issue 1126) ... One commit for the branch feat/1126-nodes-compose of mesh-delivery: its 16 commits squashed so its history does not carry the 17.8 MB compiled mesh-delivery-assigner a commit added by mistake and a later one removed (issue 1577). The tree equals the former head ff6c038d. The operator allowed this rewrite of the feature branch on 2026-10-26.	2026-10-26 19:30:18 +01:00
mesh-tools	c9f742d5f2	Read a merge's manifests and lock files at most eight at once, so a catalogue merge stays inside the bridge's bound (issues 1448, 1458, design 47 R4c-2)	2026-10-20 19:06:03 +00:00
mesh-tools	3c1e7ad464	Test the bridge's manifest and lock file conversion (issue 1448, design 47 R4c-2)	2026-10-20 18:53:07 +00:00
