jschoubben 0eafb2fe95 The assigner's state and verb placement are assignments, with its events, tools, views and every caller; the assigner copies the retired state at its start (issue 1966)

jschoubben a8e78eae19 The node-engine's account hears what its manifest consumes: the view's settled is a consumes line, not a special case in the grants part (ADR 0625 section 4, issue 1966)

jschoubben 5c73853653 mesh-grants: no go/delivery, health or provisions import left: the user list and grants are its own grantsstate, the other parts' states are named in its buscompose names.go (checked against its manifest), their values are the seats' types (ADR 0634 §1, §4; issue 1966)

jschoubben 986ab0396d The verdict events are the seat mesh-catalog's: the indexer says manifest-accepted and manifest-refused on the seat's subject and no longer lists them in emits; builder, watchman and the grants part consume mesh-catalog.<event>, the bus module's keeper hears a watched seat's events (B7d finding 1; issue 1966)

jschoubben 276886d8f6 G-delivery 5 (grants half): a read-only state is written by the process naming it alone
The bus module's spend record must not be writable by the tool runner. A state declared read-only gets read on
the module's own account and the tool runner carrying it (direct get, a watch's consumer) and no publish on its
$KV subjects; the process whose bus state names it writes it. The judge rule and the manifest field follow
with mesh-sdk's read-only.

jschoubben 8a78e00bb0 DLV-G1, DLV-W1: the grants part and the watchman hear mesh-broker's events on the seat's subject; the keeper is granted them
The lead's ruling of 13:0x (registry milestone): mesh-broker's events are mesh.seat.mesh-broker.event.<event> on the
shared events stream like every seat's. The grants part and the watchman consume mesh-broker.<event> and no longer hear
the bus module's own stream, which is its history for its tool. The keeper's process account is composed the seat's
event subjects, and the acknowledgement of a snapshot's chunks of each entry it keeps, which ADR 0626 §1 grants and the
composition lacked; a row holds it to no subscription of a restricted stream's subjects and no consumer of one.

jschoubben 627cb0c0c9 DLV-G2: the bus module's keeper is the process whose bus declares keeps, and only it is composed the create, update, snapshot and delete of every module's bus state (ADR 0626 §1, §3)
A process of the bus module without keeps, or keeps on any other module, is composed nothing
of it. mesh-sdk's ProcessBus.Keeps is asked of A1 (a5-sdk-keeps.patch).

jschoubben 5b68106662 DLV-G2: the bus module's process serves nothing, as every process account (ADR 0436 §3): it hears its module's consumes on a consumer of its own, says its stream's events and raises its conditions; the seat's reading verbs stay its module's tools'
The keeper is asked by a person through its own state requests (CAT-N8); the acting verbs
are served by nobody on the bus and denied to every principal whose grant reaches them. The
bus module's tools bundle may read its module's own stream back (nats_history).

jschoubben 8f6562368c DLV-G2: the bus module's process gets its own account: it defines every module's bus state by its names and an orphan's it created, serves mesh-broker's eight verbs, and no other account holds the acting four (ADR 0595 §4, §5)
The grants are composed for the process of the module holding mesh-broker, from every
manifest's bus-state entries and the streams of the bindings kept; the writers table names
it beside the grants part as a definer of streams; the acting verbs are denied to every
principal whose grant reaches them, and neither the holder's own account nor the tool runner
serves the seat's verbs.

jschoubben 6d24922172 The node-engine's witness ping is granted by the tool runner's name its manifest gives, any service's instance on its own node while none says so, never a name in mesh-grants (ADR 0601 §4; review round 1, finding 4) 2026-11-03 16:44:47 +01:00
jschoubben b342c67b19 The grants part knows the tool runner by what its manifest says, never by its name, and keeps a node's tool runner user as the list in force holds it while no manifest there says it yet, said in the held condition (ADR 0601 §4; the prepare's seams finding on mesh-grants's own name) 2026-11-03 16:44:47 +01:00

jschoubben 0b03b9c7c5 mesh-grants: create a module's object buckets and history streams, grant their readers read-only, and warn at 75 percent
ADR 0592 §5, §6, §9, §25 (the grants part's share by ADR 0593 §10): an object bucket and a stream that
keeps its history are created create-only with their caps and no age limit, refusing new data when full;
the owner alone writes its bucket and a module its grant names reads it; the part raises
mesh-grants.history-full once any passes 75 percent. Each engine also reads the indexer's manifest
verdicts by one key for compose-candidate.

jschoubben 74304052b4 mesh-grants: every node's engine writes its own compositions and the named readers read them all
ADR 0593 §6, §7: the grants part creates composed-<node> per node, grants each engine the writes of its
own bucket and a direct get of the indexer's candidates for compose-candidate, and grants
mesh-host.composed read-only, with the stream listing and creation advisory a per-node read needs, to
the provisioner, the assigner and the view alone; memberships issue it per node.

jschoubben 78fedabeb1 mesh-grants: own the bus's composer, so a change to who may say what rebuilds only the grants part
ADR 0593 §1: buscompose's engine moves from mesh-sdk into mesh-grants/internal/buscompose, its golden
user lists unchanged; the controller's raise and assert code is left behind, and the merged switch
test runs inside the part's whole integration test.
