mesh/check checking 70ade15c36eb on dd90a26251b9 | novox/mesh-delivery#149 in group feat/l3-final
The indexer judged only the manifests its modules state holds, so a digest refused by an older judge (node-tools
48c729f6 and mesh-provisioner-client a382b9df, refused for words then unknown) kept that refusal once it was back on
the trunk or in a candidate. Each such digest is now judged alone, in the catalogue the trunk holds, writing its
verdict and nothing else; an accepted verdict stays accepted under any later judge (ADR 0579 §1), so only a refused or
waiting verdict by another judge, or none, is judged again.

bus-state is offered with no credential of a consumer's own, so the provisioner keys nothing for it; the view showed
every module asking bus state as waiting for that key for good.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
A bus module that both offers and asks bus state waited on itself for good at its first such build; it now waits on
nobody for it, as the graph and catalogue.Awaited leave a module's own provision out.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
bus-state is answered with no credential of a consumer's own, so ADR 0603 §5 counts the provider's own have: the
assigner reads, per pass, what the running healthy builds on online nodes offer (their manifests through the builder's
builds) and holds a consumer with a bus-state entry under the provisions' rule until one offers it, handed or not and
with no provisioner key. The words name bus state, and the delivery view names the edge from them.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
The words of a want held on a verb or a reader capability are written and read in one place, the module graph's
package: the assigner writes them, the view names the edge from them. A bus-state wait is named bus state, and each
module's verb edges the graph leaves out on a cycle are listed beside its waits.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
Rows in the judge's table: two modules invoking each other, or a verb closing a cycle with a provision, are not
refused; a cycle of provisions and one of bases are. The refusal's words name what a part waits on now.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
What the running builds serve is read when a changed build module is met: the node-engine's haves, the builder's
build of each, its manifest. The modules it builds are composed from their manifests, as for any changed build
module, and the composition's warnings name the verb.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
The assigner reads the indexer's module graph (a new reads line): of what a module invokes it waits only on the edges
the graph keeps and another module serves, so a left-out cycle holds nothing; a verb counts as served once a running
healthy build's manifest serves it. The hold is under the provisions' rule, its words naming the verb, since no reader
knows a rule number of its own yet. Without the graph no want waits on a verb.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
The assigner reads which edges are left out from the graph, so one place decides the cycle; the whole graph is
judged, a module past the graph's cap included, before the first GraphMost are written.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
The rules read Module.Needs from the indexer's modules value and each node's stated reads from its record in
`<node>.node` of the haves; an engine stating none is read as the baseline, so the node-engine's own new build, whose
manifest uses only the baseline's words, is not held. The hold is rule 7 (no rule of its own is numbered in this
release, ADR 0614 F2) with words naming the node's engine and each capability, which the want tools and view_tiers
already show.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
Module.Needs is catalogue.ManifestNeeds of the manifest held: written by the merge that takes a changed manifest in, so
no reader takes it as needing nothing before the judge's pass, named again by the judge with the verdict, and carried
over by a write that leaves the digest, as the verdict is. The module value is the one the assigner and the checker
already read.

The running indexer refuses the tool-runner word, so node-tools' trunk manifest takes it out again (mesh-tools
fix/l3-words-after-judge); trunk's judge then refuses node-tools twice (its waits, its runtime bundle) and mesh-grants
would compose its node users as plain modules. One helper, sdk/toolrunner.Is, counts a manifest as the tool runner
when it says tool-runner or its module is the SDK's deprecated catalogue.RuntimeModule; the judge's waits and
undelivered-bundle rules and mesh-grants' declared records ask it. It goes once tool-runner is back on node-tools'
trunk manifest (issue 774, issue 1585 note 42).

mesh/delivery-group group feat/l3b-bus rejected: composed together: the checker's verdict at the members' heads (62ca67fc6b58): integration: mesh-delivery-assi…
A failed candidate build no longer needs mesh-delivery.recheck, an exception verb (ADR 0421 §12): the checker hears the
builder's keys the failed verdict names and, once each is written done (builder_build_again), retakes the check of the
same heads as it does after a failure of the nodes, at its start too. When the tests have already failed the check
composes at once and names the builds it did not wait on, so its red status is never held back by a build.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
Worked out from the builder's builds state at each read, stored nowhere: of each running check, the candidate's builds
that are neither done nor failed.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
The builder already builds every candidate fingerprint into its own key. The check now watches exactly those keys on the
bus and composes once each is done or failed, within the new setting build-wait-bound (1800 s). A failed build fails the
check, naming it; a build not ended within the bound is named and the check composes without it. A module built by a
build module the change alters (mesh-build-go or mesh-build-node), one standing on a base the change alters, and one the
trunk holds no record of are not waited on, and the composition's warnings name each with why.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
D13b: the composition's warnings, and so the check's line, name the changed modules built with the Go build module the change alters and those standing on a changed base. D9: builder and verdict rows. D15: the assigner's integration test gets a source revision changing a provider, its new consumer and a build module.
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
The indexer's recompute and merge failed on listing a graph bucket not yet on the bus, and a package published from inside a module's directory had no publisher, so the dependents of a build module missed what imports its packages (review findings 3 and 4 of L3).
Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JG73KG7AfSdh6FP8VrBqCn
dropRemoved hands the module over from the other trunk, read from the forge at the head the source names, so no wait in memory is needed. indexer_take_in with a repository takes in a head with no module.json as a merge that leaves none, and answers by name for a head with modules.
The forge bridge wrote no merged message for such a merge, so taken.<repo> never moved
and the view held 'the indexer has not yet taken in <head>' (hq #490-#492). The bridge
now writes it with no trees; the indexer drops every module of the repository on it,
after the same order check as any merged message. The view needed no change: with the
taken key moving it reaches the merge, which its new row proves.
Needs mesh-sdk fix/1126-no-module-reach (a merged message may carry no trees).
