jschoubben c0a4b139a2 A try queued behind the build seat's checks no longer blocks the next try ...

Only tries a build node holds count toward the 4 at once; tries waiting for a node are bounded
apart at 8, and the refusal names both counts (issue 1890: at 19:53 four tries queued behind 44
checks for up to 47 minutes refused every further try).

adr548_test.go

checker: a check is never held by a turn its own heads wait in, the node-engine read at its running commit is named and carried when it moves, and a gate bucket made after the start is opened before the next claim (ADR 0548 §3, §6; issue 568, review round 1)

awaiting_test.go

Wait for the assigner's composition only while the assigner is online, say at once that it is not judged when it is not, and take it in when the assigner writes it later, so no check waits its bound for a composition nobody makes (issue 1297, B3d)

2026-10-23 15:44:00 +02:00

awaiting.go

checker: a carry keeps the composition it passed while no composed fingerprint changed, and composes again otherwise (ADR 0548 §5; issue 568 D3)

beside.go

checker: a check is never held by a turn its own heads wait in, the node-engine read at its running commit is named and carried when it moves, and a gate bucket made after the start is opened before the next claim (ADR 0548 §3, §6; issue 568, review round 1)

builds.go

The checker's line says whether each candidate module's build is built, failed or waiting, read from the builder's keys (issue 1684)

case.go

A running try names its asks and where each stands; build_usage says a seat's CPU-bound capacity

checker_test.go

Stop watching the node-engine's have in the checker: a check's asks wait in the build seats' streams, which redeliver a lost node's ask, so no check fails for want of a node; presence stays for an unheard forge and the assigner's presence (issue 1912)

2026-10-23 16:41:34 +02:00

checker.go

Checker: an ask the build seat gives up on ends its try as error and asks a check again; a try no node takes ends at the step bound; checker_try_end ends one by hand (issue 734)

digestform_test.go

Read a level's digest from mesh-sdk's list form, so kept verdicts hold for a check whose end names a package like token (issue 1930)

Name every failed test in a check's verdict and a try's failed list (issue 1921)

examiner_test.go

checker: the placed ask names the unmet packages, so a package without a kept verdict is not run or counted twice (issue 890, ADR 0552 §4; review round 1). Pins mesh-sdk 45564e69.

gate_test.go

checker: a trunk move never ends a check; once it ended, its pass is carried and names the commits it was carried from, and a failed carry names the move (ADR 0548 §1, §5; issue 568 D2)

2026-10-26 11:30:46 +01:00

heard_test.go

Judge each pull request's check as one ask on the build seats' check stream, a re-judge on recheck, so the checker chooses no node and a lost node's check is redelivered, not moved (issue 1887 A5a, ADR 0525 §1, §3, ADR 0536 §4)

2026-10-23 16:51:55 +02:00

line.go

checker: the line of a carried verdict names the head on the new trunk, then where it was carried from; a verdict being carried is pending and says so (ADR 0548 §6, §8; issue 568 D6)

2026-10-26 11:35:16 +01:00

lostask_test.go

Checker and builder: wait on the build seats through mesh-sdk's LostAskWaiter, so an ask the seat gave up on ends every asker's wait (issue 734)

pins_test.go

checker: a check is never held by a turn its own heads wait in, the node-engine read at its running commit is named and carried when it moves, and a gate bucket made after the start is opened before the next claim (ADR 0548 §3, §6; issue 568, review round 1)
