jschoubben	092260870b	A ledger's binding carries its types (issue 1966 S3) ... The grants part copies them from the manifest-accepted entry, so the tool runner checks an operation against its type without reading another part's state (ADR 0596; the lead's ruling on issue 1966 B1).	2026-11-03 15:12:19 +01:00
jschoubben	e9c319c5a0	A membership carries its module's bus-state bindings, by local name (issue 1966 S3) ... ADR 0595 §1, §7: the binding travels on the bus module's created and the grants part writes it into the membership; omitted when empty, so a membership without bindings encodes byte for byte as before. The two address tests are one table.	2026-11-03 13:21:24 +01:00
jschoubben	acef75d398	membership: an issued state may be one bucket per node, so the runtime reads every node's compositions for a bundle as one state (ADR 0593 §6) ... Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NcbgfJ9Gum47zkFKWRaovL	2026-11-02 18:24:01 +01:00
jschoubben	7a9c8570cb	Stop declaring and reading the ASSIGNMENTS stream: a runtime reads its membership from the grants part's state, and the stream is deleted at the lease write and must not be made again (issue 774, research 072 row 33)	2026-10-31 09:21:04 +01:00
jschoubben	83cf97b690	Refuse an old wrapper of a held-back membership, so a reader falls back to the assignments stream ... The grants part's old build wrote its wrapper for every membership, a held-back one too, with the unpublished composition inside; the new part never rewrites such a key, so the decoder took the held-back membership as given. It now reads a wrapper only when its published says published or unchanged. The codec's rows join the round-trip test (mesh-sdk is over its unit budget). Review round 1 of issue 774's fix.	2026-10-30 15:36:23 +01:00
jschoubben	46d4b4da5e	One codec for the grants part's memberships, so its writer and the tool runner cannot drift ... The grants part wrote its own wrapper into mesh-grants_memberships while the tool runner read the value as a bare membership: novox's tool runner served no tool. EncodeGrantsMembership writes the bare membership; DecodeGrantsMembership and BareGrantsMembership read it, still read the old wrapper for the transition, and refuse a value naming no node or module instead of answering an empty membership. Issue 774 (the bus login list, L3). Quick fix: write the bare membership in the grants part alone. Thorough, chosen: one codec in mesh-sdk both sides use, because a hand-built test fixture agreed with the mistake and hid it.	2026-10-30 15:23:17 +01:00
jschoubben	c61212eba7	Make the membership, its subject, stream, bare address and the pin public, so the route proxy leaves the controller's module (issue 1633)	2026-10-22 09:51:01 +02:00
