ADR 0587 §1-§3 (changing ADR 0561 §5) make mesh-enrolment the only caller of the vault's enrolment-token and
node-account and a caller of sign, and §2 its bucket enrolments read by it and by the grants part as a named reader.
The holder calls the vault through its manifest's invokes, in its own name, as any caller does; while the vault serves
either enrolment verb every other principal is denied both, however wide its grant (a runtime's or an agent's `*`),
as ControllerOnly denies the desk's prompt. The writers table gains the open enrolments (mesh-enrolment) and the
node-logins (the vault), each one writer; NamedReaders names the grants part for enrolments. Golden lists unchanged.

ADR 0587 §4: the grants part composes enrol.<node> granted only to call mesh-enrolment.redeem and to hear its own
inbox; §6: from the lease write the controller's enrolment subject is not served. The enrolment principal now calls
redeem in its own name while the seat's holder serves it, and keeps mesh.control.enrol only until Records says the
lease is handed away (a field the grants part sets and the controller's composer never does). A user left able to
enrol nowhere is refused by name rather than composed empty. Golden lists unchanged. Tested as a subtest of

ADR 0583 §1: a node's account rotates between node.<n> and node.<n>--b, each with the node's permissions and its
inbox _INBOX.node.<n>. Records gains NodeLogins (each node's key of node-logins; the context file's NodeRotating,
renamed because a node that rotated and rotates no more logs in as its second login alone), and Users composes one
node user per login: the one in use and, while it rotates, the other. Each login calls in its own name, which is how
the vault tells the login that confirms (§3). While the vault serves rotate-node, each node reads its own node's key
of node-logins alone and may call node-account-confirm in its own name (§1 insight); the grants part is the state's
one named reader. With no rotation every list is the controller's golden one, unchanged. Tested as a subtest of
TestTheCopiedComposerComposesAsTheControllers, no new test function.

ADR 0582 clause 3 composes the bus's user list without the controller's write on the lease key and update of
the lease's bucket. Records.LeaseCut, set by the grants part from the write's second step, drops the
controller's $KV grant on the lease, denies it the bucket's update, purge, delete and message delete (its
$JS.API.> reaches them), and lets the grants part write the key holder alone. The bus module's tools account
may read and update the lease's bucket, for the expiry tool the write and the hand-back call. Without the cut
the lists equal the controller's golden.
Tests: rows added to TestTheCopiedComposerComposesAsTheControllers' tables (the cut on and off; the tools
account's lease grants); no new test function.

Issue 1585, S6-S8: ReadTreeManifestWritten and WithTemplatesFrom decode (the judge in mesh-delivery judges what they
answer); Manifest.Predefined, SetPredefined and FormsWritten expose what the moved judge reads; buscompose names its
removals without the catalogue's allow-list; tests outside the catalogue decode, two tree-judging tests moved.

Since 13:25 the vault, the assigner, the watchman, the grants part and the artifact store's tools were refused
mesh-controller.lease, and the vault mesh-grants.accounts, though the composer names them those states' readers
(ADR 0547 clause 9): the controller splits reads with its own copy of the reader-less ReadsAnnounced, which knows
no named readers, and Users only moved reads from granted to refused, never back.
Quick fix: the controller calls ReadsAnnouncedBy with the module. Thorough fix, chosen because the kind was met
on four owners and the judgement had two copies: Users judges every read again for its reader against the
announcements in Records (withAnnouncedReads), whatever split the caller made, and the reader-less
ReadsAnnounced is removed so no caller can judge without the reader. A rule over manifests was not added:
ADR 0495 clauses 1 and 5 keep readability out of the manifest and replaced the merge gate's reads check by each
module's announcement test. gitea.bound and disk-load.readings stay refused: their owners announce them not
readable, which their own code fixes.
mesh/check checking 6e7820395952 on 42988a734b3d | novox/mesh-sdk#136 in group fix/runner-carries-no-engine-state
Second meeting of the engine-state-in-runner kind (mesh-host_acts this
morning, mesh-host_health now); thorough: the runner never carries the
engine module. One predicate, Composed, keeps the engine out of the
placed loop (no user, no process, nothing carried); CarriedByRunner is
the one test of what the runner carries. The engine's grants stay the
node account's, its state created through Records.Engine.
frombus composed every module from the indexer's raw manifest: no moved module
was handed, so the node stood in for own secrets the vault leaves to the
provisioner (the seed's refusals on all four nodes), and a provider elsewhere
had no config values, so mailu's served domain refused shanks.
- takein: the controller's take-in of a done key (artifacts, launchers, the
templates archive's texts, Resolve) as one SDK rule; catalogue.Launchers holds
the launcher rule buildstep now delegates to.
- frombus: each module placed on the composing node, and each kept at another
build (Scope.KeptAt, a fingerprint), composes from its built manifest; another
node's modules give the keys their served values fill (Reader.Served).
- buscompose: Declared.Served and Principal.ServedReads grant every node the read
of exactly those keys of mesh-config_resolved.
- compose.ArtifactStoreAddress: the store as the node's composition routes to it.
The grants part writes its list as an object of its own bucket, sealed to the bus node's key, and names it in
user-list.sealed; the node-engine of the node holding mesh-broker is granted that one key and an object by name, the
grants part its bucket (the controller's copy carries the same grants, byte for byte, golden regenerated there).
A state may name its readers (announce, NamedReaders): mesh-vault.bus-accounts is read by mesh-grants alone.
The copied bus composer grants mesh-grants' principal $JS.API.STREAM.CREATE.<stream> and
$JS.API.STREAM.INFO.<stream> for each bucket (KV_<module>_<state>), log (LOG_<module>_<log>) and
module stream a placed module's manifest declares, each by its own name: NATS wildcards are whole
tokens, so nothing narrower than an exact name exists and nothing wider is granted. The writers
table lets the grants part create, never update or delete. The operator allowed this one grant
on 2026-10-26 08:54, beside the memberships grant of 22:31 (ADR 0547 clause 1 and 5).
The expected lists were written again by the controller's own internal/broker with the same
change (mesh-control fix/1790-grants-create-buckets); a fixture now places mesh-grants beside the
builder's state, log and stream.
Issue: 1790
The grants part composes the bus's user list with the composer the controller uses (ADR 0547 §5), copied rather than
moved: the controller is not changed and keeps its own until it loses the lease. Left out: the bus client, the broker's
address from the environment and the client's two methods; the lease's two subjects are copied in.
One table test holds the copy to four meshes' lists and the server golden, written by the controller's own
internal/broker from the same fixtures (testdata/controller-user-lists.json).
