jschoubben	2e8c2a7f4c	Seat mesh-delivery-checker: the try and its read are verbs of the checker's own seat, replacing sh merge-check.sh (ADR 0547 §10, issue 774)	2026-10-27 22:49:06 +01:00
jschoubben	d688f106e9	Name the vault's verb issue-account on its seat, so its holder may serve it (issue 774, ADR 0561 §9)	2026-10-27 22:42:53 +01:00
jschoubben	e78e881ecb	The vault's seat promises own, which L2's vault serves and its claim names, so the controller's catalogue check passes (issue 1126) ... mesh-catalog's mesh-vault claims its seat serving own (a machine's node-engine asks its own machine's secrets and pair credentials sealed to its stated key), and buscompose already grants that call to node principals (AsksItsOwnSecrets, VaultOwn); only the seat's verb list lacked it, so a claim naming it was refused.	2026-10-26 22:38:58 +01:00
jschoubben	852ba81c5a	Build seats yield to one shared slice per node; the composer half waits for the engines (ADR 0553, issue 1806) ... Review round 1: the decoder type ships before any composer can emit it, so a routine SDK bump never sends yields to an engine that refuses them; the composer half moves to a later change. Every yielding process of a node goes into one top-level slice, meshyield.slice, so the three build modules share one quota instead of taking one each; the share is one node value, node-tools' build-cpu-share, and each step's threads divide it by every build slot of the node (words from the composer, a conservative fallback without them).	2026-10-26 14:20:05 +01:00
jschoubben	04902ff24a	Build seats yield: idle priority and a per-node processor cap on their runtimes, threads per step within it (issue 1806) ... The operator's desktop slows while it builds: the Go build runtime took 1650% of shanks' 24 processors with nothing holding it back. A build seat's holder now runs its runtime at idle priority under its node's cpu-cap share (declaration Yields, composed from Seat.Yields and the module's cpu-cap setting), and buildcpu/buildstep give each step its part of that cap in threads.	2026-10-26 13:37:00 +01:00
jschoubben	7f9cc0e55c	Keep plan-moved and sent among the controller seat's events until the catalogue's main consumes them no more (issue 1943) ... The controller's broker tests read the catalogue's main, whose gate and messenger still consume plan-moved; nothing emits them (ADR 0539).	2026-10-24 20:38:24 +02:00
jschoubben	e45bdc0891	Drop plan-moved and sent from the controller seat's events (issue 1943; the review's notes on 1945) ... No plan is kept or sent in release 6 (ADR 0539), and the messenger now hears the delivery view's events instead.	2026-10-24 20:20:48 +02:00
jschoubben	5da87a0dda	Let the controller say a bucket it deleted at its first start (issue 1943; for issue 1945, B13) ... ADR 0539 clause 13 has the controller delete the plan-state buckets once and say each as its event.	2026-10-24 17:03:54 +02:00
jschoubben	34f210e5eb	Give the controller seat the verb held and the event artifacts-gone, so the builder rebuilds a done key whose blob the artifact store no longer holds (issue 1937) ... The store's nightly collector deletes every bare blob no manifest names, and a done key the controller never took in holds nothing: node-tools, mesh-host and the forge bridge kept done keys naming blobs that answer 404. held lets the builder ask before it reuses a key; artifacts-gone is said when a take-in finds a gone blob. delivery/held.go is the shared contract.	2026-10-24 04:07:22 +02:00
jschoubben	69041c5302	Retire the seat node-build-agent for one build seat per language, so a node's builds are pulled and paused at its build modules and a claim on the old seat names its replacement (issue 1887 A9a, ADR 0525 §2, §10)	2026-10-23 15:19:41 +02:00
mesh-tools	5e4fcc6db7	Copy mesh-controller's catalogue into mesh-sdk, part 1: the package and its testdata, from mesh-control 6c2a8d62 (issue 1354)	2026-10-20 06:05:52 +00:00
