The operator's direction of 2026-10-03: tools in any language, the runtime language agnostic, node-tools in Go.

Decided: ADR 0188 §2's in-process shortcut for TypeScript is withdrawn; every served bundle is a child speaking MCP over stdio. The runtime execs what it is given; the toolchain makes each served entrypoint executable (a binary is; TypeScript gets a generated launcher using the bundle's own SDK). A launched bundle is told the module it serves as, so seat verbs are always <seat>.<verb>. The runtime may be written in any language and moves to Go once the contract is proven. Options: keep the shortcut; runtime holds an interpreter table — both rejected with reasons.

ADR 0188 and 0192 get dated "mechanism changed" notes. Design 38 gains WP4d with order and proof. Checks pass.
