The node-names fact is written over /etc/hosts. On an adopted workstation that file also holds the distribution's lines, operator entries and a local-development tool's marked blocks — all lost at take/converge, and every later write by that tool overwritten silently. ADR 0102's failure in a file 0102 did not name.

Proposes a marked-region merge (into: "block") in the host and the fact written as that region. Also records that a machine enrolled but not on the private network is in neither fact.

Fix in flight: mesh-host feat/a-file-written-into-a-marked-block, mesh-controller feat/the-uplink-seat-and-the-hosts-region.
