mesh-host #80 merged and rolled. The diagnosis was right about where and wrong about what: the process applier's unchanged path returned an outcome without the digest, the loop recorded it, and the next five-minute cycle re-created the daemon — created every other cycle, the ten-minute cadence. Fixed by carrying the digest forward; test applies one process three times and fails on the code before.
Proven live on the laptop after the host rolled (version af0ea9514d81): two reconcile cycles, no created node-tools.runtime, no restart of the runtime.
