Playbook 07 and AGENTS.md send every coding subagent to a worktree under hq's .work/; the repository is public, so .work/ is ignored and an 'add all' can never commit worktrees, context files or milestone files (the reviewer's note on #507). The groomer definition first on this branch was taken out at the operator's word: grooming belongs to the issue tracker (noted on issue 483).

An issue-groomer agent definition for playbook 03; .work/ is ignored, so worktrees never reach the public repository 43d5347258

The groomer is the issue tracker's, not an hq agent (the operator, 2026-11-03): only .work/ ignored stays c5644e4a5d
