The packages port is a per-node setting now, fixed by mesh-host#21, mesh-controller#45 and mesh-catalog#39, all merged. The report says what the fix does, and that two of its own open questions stay open: a binding still names a port rather than resolving it from the provider, and nothing checks that a port given at genesis is still in use once the foundation is adopted as modules.
