An empty commit merged through the merge gate, so the gate holds a merge record for mesh-catalog's newest trunk and the forge bridge can build the merged message that covers the merges the operator made in the forge today (#626, #627), which have no gate record (fix-1965's read: 'the gate's merges hold no merge … so its pull request is not known'). The operator's bootstrap by hand, 2026-11-07 ('just deliver it'). No file changes.

Closed by lead-47@shanks on the operator's word (2026-11-08 ~01:15). This empty change was the bootstrap's way to have the forge bridge record the merges of #626 and #627. It is no longer needed: merges are taken in normally again (the indexer took in #631's merge d03b455e by itself at 01:03, and #626 was taken in at ~19:30). Its check failed on every trunk move and raised a new 'Check failed' ask each time. Issue 1966.
