mesh/delivery delivered
A dropped duplicate left the in-hand marker, so every later claim failed and every ask spent its deliveries.
2026-10-21 20:57:12 +02:00
jschoubben e7cc315fd0 Guard the taking loop's subscriptions, and update the two tests that held a busy machine's pulls
The loop now lets go of and binds queues around every ask, so Close takes the lock the loop does;
the busy machine's test says it holds no pull, and the stray test keeps its long check alive
within its two-second ack wait.
2026-10-21 20:53:58 +02:00
jschoubben 60253c82b7 Fix the review of the checks-wait milestone: redeliveries, deleted modules, the kept queue
A check pending redelivery is read before the let-through fetches (none is handed back);
a deleted module is done for the plan's key; the queue an ask came from is let go of when
it ends. Tries say they run under their own id.

jschoubben bb8f076cc0 Merge remote-tracking branch 'origin/main' into fix/1652-checks-wait 2026-10-21 20:14:12 +02:00
jschoubben bb4d2e1da4 Let go of the other queues while an ask runs, and read the let-through race right
A message that reaches a builder's subscription outside a fetch was held unheartbeated for
the whole run of another ask, behind which a delivery waited (issue 1747). The queues the
running ask did not come from are let go of and bound again after it.
2026-10-21 19:56:23 +02:00
jschoubben a14dc04b7b Hold the build seat's checks while a delivery builds, and let one check that waited 30 minutes through
ADR 0483: the controller keeps a key per plan in its build phase; holders read it and
take no new check while one is there, but for the oldest check past 30 minutes, one
at a time by a let-through key. The queue says why checks wait.

// the plan's first build is asked, put again about every thirty seconds, deleted when the phase ends; the bucket's age
// (two minutes) removes the key of a controller that stopped. A reader lists the keys and needs no value to decide.
