Merge mesh-delivery's trunk (the checker release #161) into the registry group
The group's beside.go and pins_test.go already carry #161's fixes in their group form (siblings from each sibling's go.mod); try_test.go keeps #161's case that echoes the end through Put, in the group's event types. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01NcbgfFSnn24M3GcqttoU7i
