Issue 1304, step 1 of 2. Changes only go/merge-check.sh, identical to the script change in #43; go/vendor stays.
The script strips -mod=vendor from the toolchain's GOFLAGS, uses -mod=readonly, sets GOPRIVATE=git.novox.be, and runs go mod download and go mod verify (fails by module name on a go.sum mismatch). Step 2 is #43, which removes go/vendor and is judged by this check once this merges (main's old script fails it with inconsistent vendoring).
Locally: go mod verify, go vet, go vet -tags integration and the unit suite are green under -mod=readonly.

Merge check at ba3aa8f9
Judged: head ba3aa8f9074d merged into trunk 91763dd70ee4; read beside it: mesh-catalog 66aa204f6779, mesh-controller 880207649956, mesh-controller-main 880207649956, mesh-host 2474bf28330f, mesh-tools 7412c5b6c9c5
mesh/merge-gate: PASS, WITH A NOTE — a merge rebuilds 42 module(s) in 3 tier(s) (modules: mesh-sdk; built after them: audit-logger, baserow, bazarr, bookshelf, confluence, gitea, gitlab, grafana, home-assistant, icecast, influxdb, jackett, jira, kometa, lab, letta, lidarr, mailu, mesh-catalog, mesh-tools, minio, model-usage, mongodb, mosquitto, mssql, netcheck, nextcloud, nftables, nodered, ombi, openai-consumer, radarr, redis, route-adapter, searxng, showcase, sonarr, tautulli, umami, unifi, zsh)
mesh/repo-check: PASS — THE CHANGE ALTERS ITS OWN CHECK (go/merge-check.sh): main's version judged it; the change's judges the pull requests after it merges; its merge-check.sh passed, each part in its toolchain: merge-check.sh (typescript), go/merge-check.sh (go)

**Merge check** at `ba3aa8f9`

- `mesh/merge-gate`: **PASS, WITH A NOTE** — a merge rebuilds 42 module(s) in 3 tier(s) (modules: mesh-sdk; built after them: audit-logger, baserow, bazarr, bookshelf, confluence, gitea, gitlab, grafana, home-assistant, icecast, influxdb, jackett, jira, kometa, lab, letta, lidarr, mailu, mesh-catalog, mesh-tools, minio, model-usage, mongodb, mosquitto, mssql, netcheck, nextcloud, nftables, nodered, ombi, openai-consumer, radarr, redis, route-adapter, searxng, showcase, sonarr, tautulli, umami, unifi, zsh)

**Out of date when it landed**: out of date: judged against trunk 91763dd70ee4, the trunk is now 2db8ef5079f5; judged again on a recheck or when it is merged
Blocking a user prevents them from interacting with repositories, such as opening or commenting on pull requests or issues. Learn more about blocking a user.
